I am still in disbelief. I went to Christoffer, my mentor and old boss with the idea of Awake in March 2023. The company Cosmation AB was registered in summer that year. And here we are today – launching our first app Awake after almost 3 years!
It was not easy at all. We had to change the initial idea multiple times. The names, the use cases, the user experience – all of it was wrong or already taken. I lost steam, belief in myself, money and energy multiple times, before getting up again. Its a miracle that this happened at all. We are here mostly because of a few people who believed in the idea when I didn’t have the energy to.
It took long days, lots of patience and hard work of my friend Rajneesh and his team at Algorizz for these apps to be a reality. I am not exaggerating when I say that I couldn’t have done it without Algorizz. Thank you Surya, Deva, Tito, Amal and Sanket. I am truly grateful.
The branding and initial ideation was a result of hilarious, soulful, rant-y conversations with my friend and witness to life Srdjan. I am grateful he is not money-minded and does not seek any IPR for it all. 😀
People like Torulf very kindly donated their time and energy to give key feedback and advice when I needed it the most. So many people selflessly tested the Beta version and reported countless bugs. I can’t thank you enough.
My family has always been wary of my mad life decisions, but have been cautiously supportive nevertheless. 😀 My immediate managers at Ericsson AB have been wonderfully tolerant of this crazy dream. I am also very proud of Swedish laws that allow an employed individual to still indulge in these meaningful pursuits that can help humanity.
I am grateful for you all, to you all. This dream belongs to all of us.
